First Visit

When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office.

Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. You will receive a complete oral evaluation, a Vizilite Plus oral cancer screening and a full set of radiographs. If you have had recent x-rays taken with your previous dentist, please be sure to have them sent to our office before your first appointment. If they have not arrived, are outdated, or inadequate, we may still want to take a new series of radiographs. This process will help diagnose the state of your oral hygiene. Before leaving our office, you will be informed of the type of cleaning you will need. Your proposed treatment plan and financial payment options will then be explained to you in detail.
